Norman's Loop Wing Mayfly pattern?

Anybody know the recipe for Norman’s Loop Wing Mayfly, or who “Norman” is for that matter? I am not looking for an ‘educated’ guess but the actual pattern. I am particularly curious what the wing material is, and how the hackle is tied (could be pullover/hackle stacker style, maybe not). “Norman” is Bob Norman, who is a northern California guide I believe.

Here is the recipe, for the red quill version, from Fly Patterns by Randall Kaufmann. You can adjust the colors to match the species.

Hook: Daiichi 1100 14-18
Thread: Tobacco brown 6/0
Wing: Lt. olive Darlon
Tail: Brown grizzly Microfibetts
Abdomen: Mahogany turkey biot
Legs: grizzly hackle
Thorax: Brown Superfine dubbing

The loop wing dun I am familiar with was was originated by Gary Borger. The first version was published way back in 1980 in his book Naturals. Gary made some revisons from the original version replacing the mallard fiber loop with synthetic. The version you have pointed to looks very similar.

Thanks a bunch, Jayatwork & Silver Creek. After reading the write up Jay found in Kaufman, looking at the sample I have, and comparing it to Silver Creeks links, looks like “Norman’s Loop Wing” is indeed just a variant of the Borger’s Loop Wing Dun pattern. Only difference appears to be the biot body and the synthetic wing (version I have did not use microfibbets).
