Checked 5 ponds this afternoon and all of them had a thin layer of ice on them.

I went out the other day and caught 13 LM bass 
I grew up in New England, but living in Georgia is great for fishing all year round. I think that if the Pilgrims had landed in Savannah instead of Plymouth Rock, Canada would have been huge. They wouldn’t have bothered with anything north of Virginia

I am another Peach State resident. Yes you can fish year round. It is very nice. Two weeks ago I was fishing trout becuase the warm water fish were too sleepy. But this weekend I will try for Gills the temperture has gone up.
