I was working the weed edges in my float tube Sunday.( 20" LMB are a heck of alot of fun on a 4 wt.) Switching over flies I looked down right before a snapping turtle with a head the size of a soft ball, 20 to 24" shell, decided my fins looked tasty. I’ve never got my tube to move that fast before. This is a normal occurance as we get later into summer and the surrounding wet lands dry out, but I’ve never seen one that size and that bold. PS I caught the bas on a Chartruese wooly bugger with a pink squirrel dropper. Most were caught on the dropper.
Wow, Rhyne, that’s “teabagging” in the nth degree!
there are some great pieces of art on that trollart website. Well, at least I think so, its all in the eye of hte beholder of course.
I wish Troll Art would be FAOL sponsors, they could do good by it.
I’ll shoot em that idea
Robin, that looks like worm fishing to me.
heh, indeed it is and yet another argument for no bait fishing!
