NightAngler1's PMS ...

Leonard’s PMS dry …

The PMS wet …

The PMS eaten …

( This afternoon on the Bitterroot River. This was the longer of two browns the PMS met up with today. The other one was the fatter of the two. )

John

So how do you tie it?

and then take the link to youtube.

John

P.S. This is basically a marabou tail end, with some flash material, and a pine squirrel collar for the front end. If I recall, Leonard named it the PMS for Pine Marabou Streamer.

Wow!! That’s one jazzy video!! Think I’ve got it (generally!!) but will have to work on it! Question … the video does move fairly quickly … is the body also tyed with the squirrel?

Here it is in stop-motion (it’s about half-way down the pdf; cool site):

… Betty, both from watching the video and examining the fly.

BUT any questions on tying this streamer really should be addressed to Leonard.

John

I love it that a guy from Virginia will post something from Freestate … just 20 miles to my west! … that I didn’t know existed!!! Fantastic! I don’t feel quite as frantic reading through the stop action as I did when watching the video, but, hey! I’ll get pretty frantic when I start mixing squirrel hair with Loctite!!!

Betty,

The interweb erases all boundaries (lol). What I find real interesting is all of the wiper fishing going on out there - that looks very cool.

Scott

John…

Nice catch!!

Betty.
The super glue is just a option… you dont really need to add it…

Betty going to have fuzzy fingernails, now? Mato has done sarted a fashion statement!

Kirk

I thought that Mato’s fashion statement is that Hexagenia limbata go with anything…

Ed

The fuzzy fingernails will go well with the hairy knuckles!!

Betty, maybe tying them on something bigger than a 14 will help?

Thanks for the link.
