Nice write up in ...

Readers Cast this week, from a fairly new writer, and member in good standing ().
Nice build up of “gunk” on that cork grip!!! Shows lots of good use!
Thanks, Bluegill222!

May need to report this thread as a blatant attempt to advertise ??!!

 Ummmm… you mean to advertise Tim’s writing? YOU BETCHA!!!

Just kidding.

A very well written and entertaining article by Bluegill222.

And nice job on the rod, Betty.

John

Took me a second to understand ya’lls comments, not had my second cup of coffee yet…lol
then I remembered the article, I thought when I was reading it how well it was written, and the fact that the folks mentioned are members here and not some folks from some far off place that I never heard of…lol

I’m really glad you mentioned that article. Otherwise, I would have missed it.
Really enjoyable read, and I love the photos! Nice job, Tim!

Yes it is a nice article.

Betty,
You should have your own custom rod shop. That rod is a beautiful work of art!

Thanks, everyone, glad you enjoyed it. It was a great year last year for me, and finally getting to meet so many people from the site was a big part of that.

Disclaimer: I had nothing to do with this thread and just now found it here. But Betty does build a pretty rod, doesn’t she? I can’t wait to get the water warmed up a little around here so I can get it out again!

like all the different types of fish caught.

I thought it was perty darn good, I was a part of it!!!

Darn good read.
For those not lucky enough to have met up with or fished with the author , this guy is the real deal (and Im not being gratuitous here) for fly fishing.
Looking forward to the next time.
As for the Lady that did the rod for him, she can transform a “sows ear” (one of my rods) into a “silk purse”. She too is a “real deal” .
