Today LF is supposed to have her shoulder surgery.

Keep both of them in mind.

Rick

LF,

Thought and prayers are with you.

LF,
I’m praying for you!
Doug

I pray all goes well, I cannot wait to see those long smooth casts from Ladyfisher once again.

Thanks Rick for the timely reminder.

My prayers as well.

Hey there LF,
Thumbs up ( at least on your post surgical good arm) for your anticipated successful shoulder surgery. In simple terms, I hope all goes well and you’re back to fly casting form real soon.
Good to hear you were finally able to schedule this procedure.

Surgery over. All went well. Pain pump installed and running, comes out Saturday. Plenty of ‘pain-pills.’ Sling for six weeks. No use of the right arm. Today, even with the pills, hurts pretty badly. We will keep you informed.

Thx for the report…give her our best!

Good. Tell her to lay on that pain pump, JC. No need to be shy.

Tell her the LTW and I are thinking about her.

Thanks for the report JC. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Love you both,

Thoughts and prayers are with you… LF…

JC
Give her a gentle hug for me and tell her we all love her.

Thanks JC,

Please let her know she is in our thoughts and prayers. Glad she was able
to get it done this time. Warm regards, Jim

I don’t understand things like this. Wednesday (yes, yesterday, the day before surgery) I took her out to a beautiful area of ocean beach. She spent a couple of hours FLY CASTING HER SAGE 8 WT into the Pacific Ocean. That type of action didn’t hurt. But, she could not raise her arm level with her shoulder. That did not limit her casting. There were kings and silvers in the area but we didn’t get any hits. Actually, the worst time of day, but I wanted her to have a really nice day before the operation. She had a grand time. God how that girl loves to fly fish. And, yes, she looked as great as ever. 8)

JC,
I just saw this post. My continued prayers are, of course, with you & your lovely Bride. I trust her recovery will be swift & complete so she can cast side by side with you soon.
Mike

Glad to hear the procedure went well. Don’t skimp on those meds!

I’ll be praying for a speeeeeedy recovery!

More prayers for Ladyfisher and Castwell. I expect that she will be out with a fly rod in a week or two, casting with her other hand. I look forward to reading about it.

Ed

good luck-quick return!

You’ll be in my prayers.

Thunderthumbs.
