Ladyfisher, I stand corrected… ((Ivan, I talked to the Redington people about this specifically. No spam, and the only person who will contact you will call to find out which rod and reel combination you won. I would not have put it up otherwise.))

i just wanted to say thank you for posting this, i just received a phone call from reddington telling me they had drawn my name and i won a free combo! im so happy its ridiculous, i still have yet to get any gear and was planning on christmas, but now it looks like ill have a nice starter combo to work with and i can use my money on other things. this week is looking great so far, im pretty sure i finally landed a job, and then today i get this call, ive needed something like this, things have been a little down lately. thanks faol, and the reddington people were very, very nice, i told them i heard about the survey here and said very good things about the site, the least i could do.

it actually got even better when she emailed me after talking on the phone, i was originally getting one of the red.x outfits, but she said she went to put the order in and they were back-ordered until february, so instead she upgraded me to an RS4 outfit with one of the new Rise reels. The value of the outfit doubled with the upgrade, so it worked out that the other outfit was back-ordered

Just fyi. This thread could be removed. I don’t know how to get it removed so this is just an fyi. Last time I sent something to publisheronline or whatever it was…I heard it got spammed and nobody is reading it.
