Got my new pontoon today and put it together.

I haven’t had it on the water yet, I will post a review once I get it wet (and hope I don’t get too wet in the process).

My guess is that the first thing to go will be the stationary seat! It was on mine! Good looking ride you should have a lot of fun with it!

You’re probably right. I’ll see how it goes. I need to rig up an anchor and a rod holder first before I start customizing it. I’ll probably get it out on the water over the weekend and see how she goes.

Nice acquisition! I only regret you didn’t get one that would allow me to stand up front and fish while you row! In all seriousness, I’m delighted for you and can’t wait for you to post your first picture with it catching fish. Keep us posted on your progress as you customize it. I think it would look good with a racing stripe on those Red 'Toons, can you say “Ramming Speed?”

Joe, I seriously considered a pontoon large enough for you to stand and cast in while I rowed. However, upon further deliberation, I thought it may be a bit presumptuous on our friendship. So, rather than risk causing a rift between us friends, I opted for the single man 'toon just to be safe.
Seriously, I did consider a 2 man one so that Daniel and I could fish together, but having seen him cast, and having no interest in wearing a #16 Adams as an ear decoration, I opted again for the single man. If it works out well, I may pick one up for him too that way we can fish together but far enough apart to keep me from having any additional pieces of jewelry hanging off of my body parts.:roll:
