A while back I posted a picture of a new product I found that I use to store my hooks and dubbing in. It was a round carousel on a lazy susan that holds 36 of the 3 inch diameter clear cups with lids. I also posted their web site and the web site would not work. I stated then that I would send them an e-mail and see what the problem was and report back to you all. Well, I got an e-mail back tonight and here is what it said:
" We really don’t know what happened to our web site. It goes down, we call and they fix it for a day or so, then it goes down again. We think the web host is going out of business, but we can’t get any answers from them. Our 800 number is 800-245-6752 and I will be more than happy to take orders over the phone for your friends until we can get a new host for our web site. Thank you."
If I were you all, I would e-mail them at the e-mail address above and ask for a Flyer of their products be sent to you so you can see what all they have and then you can place an order if interested.
That’s the best I can do for you all and for them. I know that the carousels have really helped my fly tying area and tying speed.
I’ve seen Warren’s set up and it is sweet! A very neat way to organize your tying bench.
Warren has everything in it’s place and close at hand with only the materials needed layed out by the vise. I, on the other hand, just use a stick and stir my bench untill what I want comes to the top!
This also sounds like an up front company interested in giving proper service.
I also have their “On The Fly” carrier and it is really handy. It comes with six 3" cups and I use it like a fly box while fishing. I keep nymphs in one cup, drys in another, streamers in another, etc. When I am tying flies at home, I just put the flies in one of the round cups and then just change them out in the carrier. I purchased extra cups plus some that have dividers built into the cup. The cups with the dividers work real well for midges and other very small flies. You are able to carry 4 different flies in one divided cup and they stay separated from each other. Really pretty neat and organized.
They are not considered waterproof, what is these days, but, the lid fits snug enough that I do not think rain would ever get in them and if dropped into the water, I think they would float very high and if held under water, it would take quite awhile before water would find its way into the container. The lid on the canisters fits over the outside not on the inside. This is what makes them as water resistant as they are. The canisters are not made of a hard plastic. They are made from a softer and more pliable material. I do not think you could break them. They would bend but not break. Hopefully, this helps
