I’m going to be in Pecos in five days. What can I expect in the way of bugs? I don’t get out west much so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

small mayflies in the drainage just north of the Pecos, (Embudo Santa Barbara RioPueblo) some evening caddis, very sparse evening rise. Low but very fishable water. Brown trout action good.

Ti (fly selection don’t matter, fly presentation matters very much - I used a little 18 Rio Grande trude on top, and a crackleback wet down below).
