hello everyone,I would like to quickly introduce myself. Ive been fishing for approx 7 years using a spinning rod.On a rare occasion while I lived in Westchester County I would see someone using a fly rod |Which peaked my interest.This was something I thought I would learn to do once I retired. I live in Dutchess County N.Y. One day while I was Fishing I got a call from my wife to tell me my retirement letter came in the mail.It just so happened that there was someone flyfishing not to far from where I was so I decided to go over and ask some questions. He gave me a quick streamside lesson, after about my tenth sloppy cast I was lucky enough to catch a nice little brown.After that moment I was hooked, so I hope I can ask some of you members questions from time to time that might arrise that will help me along my new endeavor. Take the time to surf all of this site. There are tons of info here and some great reading.
