not that new. its been out for a few years now
My introduction to that fun little toy was a new owner who kept running up and down the little rapids and into the best section of the part of the Hooch I fish regularly. Rather like a motocross bike on a hiking trail. Not the fault of the boat but the owner screwed up me fishing the best pool on my float back to my pickup. I realize the guy had as much right to be there as I did but the guys in paddled yaks tend to be polite, and even if they want to paddle back up and run the rapids a couple of times they don’t ruin it for the fishermen. It would be fun, but it is to a kayaker whay a motocross cycle would be to a mountain biker. IMHO

It’s a pretty low powered jetski, only 7 hp. It’s a neat set up but I have seen and have ever confidence in the public’s ability to abuse the privilege associated with the ownership and use of such a machine. The popularity of ATV from dirt bikes, to 4 wheelers to 4 wheel drive pickups has practically eliminated access to private land in the Southeast USA, I suspect the rest of the country has seen similar damage to land owners and the withdrawal of access.
Besides, most of us need the exercise of paddling, rowing or some how manually propelling our craft.
This changes everything!
