new fly flinger/w pics

Here is Brandon, the new fly flinger on the block. These were taken on the Upper Calapooia where we went after Gardenfishs awesome generosity. The rod was the first Gardenfish got when He started flyfishing. Now its Brandons first. Hate to sound mushy, but I get wet eyes when I reflect on what Gardenfish did. The quality of people on this site are second to none. From b ot h

Kudos to you and Gardenfish!

i clicked on link and hes got a fish wowee

Yes he got a fish, and yes it survived. Took me awhile to revive it. Hes still green but I think this is gonna be for life

Clyde, thank you for posting the pictures. Wow, the smile on Brandon’s face when you two parked in from of our home was priceless I will never forget it. Tell Brandon to pass it on some day, not the rod, but the favor. The time will come and he will know exactly when it is. What a great day! THat was the rod I learned to cast with. Obviously, it is in good hands now. Excellent!

You guys are the BEST! Congratulations to Brandon! You all made me misty eyed too.

What a great thing to do Gardenfish! I see Brandon’s making good use of that rod already. Looks like a great piece of the outdoors too. Just good no matter how you look at it.
