New Build

This is the Dan Craft FT 10’, 3 wt. 4-piece rod I’ve finally finished. So far I love the feel of the blank in my hand and I can’t wait to get it on the water. Sorry about the photography. I planned to take the photos in ambient light but we’re getting pummeled with rain. I learned a great deal with this build and can’t wait to build another. Thanks to all who solicited their help.

Strikes me as quite bold. Which is a good thing.

Nice job building it. Hope to hear how it fishes in the not distant future.

Bold is right! Nice!

Thanks. I’m chuckling. It’s funny how we see things as individuals. I don’t see the colors as bold, but alive. My idea was to brighten up the drab gray blank. It’s not as bright as it appears. Please don’t be afraid to criticize and tell me what I can do better with my next build. I can’t wait to fish it, but it will be awhile as we are flooding here in Central, PA.
Take Care,
Bruce
