I have decided on Habervision Belize bifocal. Probably brown. Thanks for all the leads.

i just heard about these lenses
ducksterman,
i was right. if you just fill out the prescription form on the website and let them know that you just want an uncorrected lens w/3.50 bifocals they can do that. but it has to go through the prescription desk, which is handled by a lady named sarah. if she doesn’t contact you within 2 days, then call the office and ask for her. tell her i sent you. it might even help. LOL
Thanks, flyguy…I’ll just tell her it’s the guy from AFFI…bet she doesn’t know flyguy66;)
With bifocals mounted above I don’t suppose those glasses are suitable for driving???
LOL. My name’s Ken Morrow. But “the guy from AFFI” would work, too.
I doubt seriously that they would get in the way of driving, but I haven’t checked that out. Good question! Ask Sarah. But it sort of gets back to the “one perfect tool for every job” thing that we always deal with on these forums. It doesn’t exist…not in a fly rod, fly line, wading shoe, etc. I always use the example of the LeathermanTM. The LeathermanTM Multi-tool is what I like to call the second best tool for a whole bunch of jobs. It isn’t the best tool for any job, but it is the best single tool with which you can a huge variety of jobs. Versatility always demands compromises at the upper ends of performance in specific areas.
I know im late to this thread, but I had a prescription pair of polorized sunglasses made by my local optician and had bifocals added, and I had them place the bifocal “low” on the lens, or at least lower than they normally would be placed. I love them, wear them all the time outside. Great for driving, golf, and for tying on flies and tippits. Just have to tilt your head a little more than regular bifocals to see the bifocal part, but it isnt large enough to mess with regular vision, especially the invisable “bifocal step” im always tripping over when wearing my regular glasses. Now they werent cheap, $200 plus as I recall, but seeing is a high priority for me :).
look into COSTCO. Purchase their frames and pay two cents for non prescription optical quality polarized lenses. That was the deal about 4 years ago
