Yeah - have to agree with Heritage on this one…there is NO WAY my wife would let me put any of my gear into the washing machine. I can picture the look on her face right now, the heavy roll of the eyes, followed by the phrase “you’ve GOT to be kidding…”
I think that from a woman’s point of view, it would depend on what size shoe…I was tennis shoes in the washer all the time, but if we are talking BOATS that might be a different story. :lol:
Nah - not in my household.
Just the very fact that it used to be in the stream and COULD be washed outside automatically will ban it from the washing machine.
We also have a 20 month-old daughter and while SHE would get a kick out of washing my waders in the machine…I’m sure that I would hear it the next time she got a rash “Its from those WADERS…”
So - for me - it’s washing them off in the backyard…makes for an easier night’s sleep!
