N.Carolina-Georgia Fly Fishing

Anyone ever Fish down there??I’m looking to go down South for a Vacation and do some warmer Weather Fishing(I’m in Jersey)!I’m also considering Georgia to.Any help would be appreciated.

In NC there are Trout in the Mtn streams and Stripers to be caught otherwise the warm water species have cooled down and it’s pretty slow. GA may have more active fish???

I fish, therefore I swam.

Don’t forget to stop by upper East Tennessee. Right now is big fish season. We fish year round here because we have two of the best tailwaters in the southeast.
Check out the link for one of the good ones

Trout fishing is kind of slow right now. We have had 15-25 degrees F as the low most nights for the last month. I went out to “test the water” Dec. 24 and found all of the rocks had about 1" of ice on them. As I was by myself, I did not risk any wading. “Local angler drowns in ice covered waders” is a headline I seek to avoid.;> )
