Notice him dropping his stick about 1/2 was through, picking it up and not missing a beat

I think the boy is a natural.

“I think the boy is a natural.” Nope, I think he’s been working hard!
You’re right. He takes lessons then bangs the drums all day. Notice he has a good sense of rhythm with all four extremities doing different things at the same time.
Does he practice at your house. Jerry?
I saw that he never missed a lick when he dropped that stick. Sounded good!
I hope he becomes the next Gene Krupa!!! Be proud, Grandpa…and tell him so, very often.
No he does not practice at my house. If he did he would not be nearly as good as he is. I cant stand the constant banging. He lives 200 miles from me in the Missouri Ozarks with his mother (my daughter), his dad and big brother. He’s a straight A student.
I can see why you’re a proud grandpap. He’s excellent. Maybe the next Buddy Rich?
Bruce
WOW! Talk about a kid that is busy, both hands and both feet working together. I would be in a knot on the floor.
Very impressive!
Jerry,
Very talented! The only instrument I ever played was the horn - as in shoe horn. I could barely coordinate my hands and feet to learn how to swim, let alone play the drums!
Best regards, Dave S.
I noticed how each hand and foot was doing something separate from the others and thought he was a future helicopter pilot. That’s about the only job where you do that may things with each hand and foot I can think of, however hopefully helicopter pilots keep their feet in sync with each other.
Great job on the drums, thanks for getting the clip up for us to watch, I certainly understand why you are proud of him.
Excellent job! Along the lines of Uncle Jesse if he doesn’t become a professional drummer then he is getting great training to be a helicopter pilot!
Awesome! You will probably only have to show him how to double haul once.
