OK, I am answering your post, but frankly I am a bit confused as to it’s purpose. Not being familiar with your previous posts, which I think you are indicating were ignored, I find myself in the same quandary that many others who will read it will find themselves in.
Let me try to respond anyway.
The BB here on FAOL is a great resource. Here you will not only find the answers to questions which you may have, but, you will also find the answers to questions you didn’t know you had, at least not consciously.
It has always been my experience that the posters here are courteous and polite. Have there been instances of improper conduct, yes there have. Are they tolerated? No they are not! This board has always been a civil board, perhaps the most so of any found anywhere on the internet. It exists for the enjoyment, and at times, education of its members. All contributions in that vane are welcome.
It seems the tone of your post is a bit antagonistic. However, it may be echoing some frustration with feeling as though you have not been given your ‘just due’ at some point in the past. If this is the case, may I suggest the following? Ask a question, or respond to a previous post, comment on an article, pro or con, participate.
Simply standing on the bank, tossing rocks into the water where the rest of us are fishing is not going to endear you to anyone.
Hopefully you accept my response constructively and become a member of our community. You are welcome here. But, please, do not hold us responsible for some past transgression to which we were not a party.

I’m sorry to not have re welcomed you to the board. I really do try to make everyone welcome. I guess when you spend as much time in the oncologists/hematologist office/treatment room as I have recently, a few do slip through this muddled mind. I would sincerely hope you enjoy your re-acquaintence with the board. If shame be placed on someone, I’ll accept it.

It is unfortunate that no one seemed to pick up on the fact that you posted a response on someone else’s thread back in mid February as your first post on the BB. I suspect that if anyone had recognized it was your first post, you would have been welcomed just like anyone else.
Don’t feel alone, if you do feel ignored. Any number of times, I and others have picked up a first post buried in a long thread and have jumped on it. But probably more often than not I miss that kind of first post. Also, when I see a post #2 I usually assume that the poster’s first post triggered a welcome and don’t respond to it except for what it says about the subject under discussion.
Just for the record, best I can tell by going back and reading the posts you have made on various threads, Clay’s interpretation of your track record on the BB is misleading. ( The layout that you produced, Rick, doesn’t show threads that bjames started, just ones that he posted on. ) Anyone who followed Clay’s lead, has gone down a mistaken path, kind of innocently, but still on a mistaken path.
It just happened. I don’t feel compelled to apologize, and I don’t think Betty should. That doesn’t mean that we don’t feel badly that it happened, just that we aren’t responsible for it and could only have prevented it by seeing your first post buried in someone else’s thread back on 2-13-10, noticing that it was your #1 post, and jumping on it then.
It’s unfortunate there has been a misunderstanding here - more than one, actually. Maybe you want to revisit your initial comments, or elaborate below ??
In any event, please do continue to participate and contribute as you already have. Hope those Habervision’s are working out for you ?? I’m liking my Haenon’s just fine !!

NOTE - there is one post by bjames earlier than 2-13-10 which doesn’t come up on his profile because of the changes in the BB in early February. Don’t know what that earlier post was and don’t have an effective and efficient way to identify it. If you did actually introduce yourself on the BB in one way or another with an obvious first post as the starter on a thread and I ignored it, then I do offer you an apology.

seriously? seek professional help if you’re upset that no one responds to your posts even though there are tons of responses…plus, if you’re THAT sensitive, you probably shouldn’t read anything on the internet.

I’ll back up if I was mistaken. While this place is normally quite welcoming, it should be noted that there are a lot of new names in the last couple of months or so. It would be difficult to welcome everyone although folks do try to.
Looking at your previous posts over the past few weeks, in which you offered sound advice, this seems very out-of-character. If you’re looking for a welcome back, then welcome back; sorry you had your old ID got wiped during the crossover. I have to admit, I never look to see how many posts someone has. When I joined back in ‘04 I wasn’t looking for a hearty handshake and a "hey how you doin’?", I was looking for information and I’d either ask a question and hope for responses (which I got more often than not) or just toss my $.02 in the pot. Post or don’t post, you have a lot to offer and that’s a good thing, but please don’t whine.

Sorry you felt ignored, I can tell you for sure it was not on purpose. I’ve found the nicest people (mostly lol) in this place and everybody has a very good attitude. I’d put my hands in the fire for most of them.
Ignoring what??? I’d say that you need a new pair of glasses…or something is wrong with your computer…or possibly your medication. I checked all of your posts and all of them have had at least several responses.
