This is a size #4 and I would think maybe some Bass may eat this thing, what do you think and do you have any recommendations to change for my next one?
Thanks,

The only thing I can recommend is that you tie a dozen in assorted colors and ship them to me immediately.
Excellent tie! Vary the colors of body (primary colors) & feathers (anything in the rainbow), and all of them will catch bass. Keep it up.

skip48,
Two things!, I love the red feather in the rear and you did a GREAT job with the Eyes!
If I was a Bass, I would eat it.

ok you must be a fraud. theres NO WAY you could be a newbe tyer and tying something like THAT!!! great job!!
I hate you.
jk, VERY NICE job!
I started tying jig for something to do and that was about April or May of 2006 and then I started getting interested in flies and in July 2007 I tied my first Clouser and did a few of them, then about mid July I ties my first foam flies and a few of some kind of ant type thing with hackle and some buggy nymph yarn. That was my start and then a slight pause and in Sept & Oct I really got going on Poppers and other types.
So yes I am pretty new to fly tying and loving it a lot. I have my eyes on getting better though and be able to do more difficult tying soon, I hope, LOL!
Thanks,
Skip
