Here is an overall view of my dubbing twister. Made by our Son
Here is a vew of the end where both ends of the wire end up
Here is the end that gets twisted. Notice the screw is on top. Better for my hands.

Nice job and innovations…give your son my compliments…how old is he?
Your son is very talented! (and, does nice work!).
I’m curious, about how he made the actual turning handle, on his twister!?! I can make out the bearing assembly, from the photo, but how did he make the actual plate and turning assembly? Of course, if he “can’t divulge that information, because Wapsi has already snapped him up for production rights”, I’ll understand!?!
He got them at at at store. I don’t remember which one. Maybe an electrical parts tore.

Nice job Rick! I hope that you find the dubbing twister as useful a tool at the bench as I have. Your dubbing twister is expecially valuable in that your son made it for you.
Enjoy and thanks for sharing.

It is like everything else I have tried. Take the amount of dubbing you think you need , cut it half twice and it is about right.
Great fun to play with and makes it easier totie a series of flies.
