…had triple bypass surgery this morning. 
he did ok and didnt need the heart/lung machine according to the doctor.

just an update
hes been awake and alert and even tried to call either me or my brother. i’ll bet he didnt know he would have to dial 9 to get an outside line.
my brother talked to his nurse, and she goes in and wakes him up. he’s responsive and making slooowww progress. the nurse suggested that we dont go to visit him tonite. he is cardiac intensive care right now, but the nurse suggested he may get out of the cic tomorrow and back to his room when he was admitted.
i have my fingers crossed and everything else that can be crossed.
