Very impressive! We used to see supercells in North Dakota and they were not considered beautiful, just dangerous and powerful. The winds and precipitation, usually in the form of hail, ravaged crops and once in a while they spawned tornadoes that damaged property and took lives. It’s one thing to see the awesome pictures collected, totally another to see a storm like this headed for your town or farm.

Aside from some touchups, Normand, it’s very much a legit photo. It’s from the National Geographic Photo Contest, I believe.
Not sure what you meaning is with this comment. The gentleman took some very good photographs. I don’t see much in the way of manipulation execpt some very good developement work. There is no difference working a photograph in Photoshop or any other post shoot software than there is with work done in a dark room. Even one of the best nature photographers ever, Ansil Adams, would spend hours and hours in the dark room enhancing his shots and I am almost positive he would have embraced the digital world of photography if he were still alive.
