Jim - what wire bender/twister and what gauge wire do you use? I noticed wire benders can range in price from about $18.00 to almost $200.00 dollars.

I started with a Boggs Tackle Master but realized that I wanted one that I could use for heaviers wire for larger spinning baits, so I bought a Hagan which is more expensive but handles the heavier wire. I have the Boggs Tacklemaster which I only used two times. PM me if you’re interested and I’ll give you a great deal.

I see the hook point is up on a couple of them. Does this help them to be weedless? Oh yeah…nice bugs!

THanks for the kind words. They’re fun to make and it’s always nice to catch fish on you own creations. Yes, I like to position the hook up to avoid hanging up on surface or shallow weeds.
