Woke up at about 3 AM to a bit of side-to-side motion in the trailer. Checked this morning and there was a 3.5 in Lincoln (about 50 miles away from Craig, where I’m at), then another smaller one 45 minutes later, the same place where they had a 5+ in July. Pretty soon you’ll be able to buy oceanfront property in Glendive.

Fishing was decent - didn’t see a lot of heads up but there were some risers; managed a few on dries (skipped trying to fish the #26 pseudos and got them on a #18 Buzzball). Weeds were manageable, some days better than others; part of the price to pay for the abundant bug life, I guess, so no complaints. Very crowded on the weekends (and it’ll get busier as the baetis and streamer fishing picks up) but weekdays were fine; had stretches of productive water to myself for hours. Sorry to leave it but I have a date with some water to the south.
