I have a 2 piece 9 ft 5 wt St Croix UltraLegend rod and wished I had a 3 or 4 piece instead. Is it possible to convert my 2 piece to a 4 piece without compromising its performance?

Hey there Slough,
Apparently you’re not familiar with “duct tape”. Several neat winds at the cut points will do the trick. Paint to match. And you can do this many times. Tape is cheap.

Keep the two piece,
A four piece has twice as many sections that can break 
break it on purpose and send it back. ask for a 4 piece this time…KIDDING!!! 
Welcome to the BB Slough. I’d watch the BB Thingsfor sale and Things wanted…you might be able to either sell/buy for what you want of work out a trade…long as you don’t cut it that is…you cut it and about all U will get for it is the lint off of someones wading socks.
I guessed that the modification wouldn’t be the right way to go. To be sure I thought I would get some experieneced opinions.
