Got my copy of Yellowstone Country Flies in the mail today. Lots of great stuff - clear, concise instructions and photos of flies the guys in the shop (Doug Korn included) tie and fish every day; if you wanna see inside the guide’s flyboxes, you’ve come to the right place. Use this book in conjunction with Wally’s great tying videos, and Richard Parks Fishing Yellowstone National Park and you should have some great days on the water. Although tailored to the Park and surrounding waters, these patterns should play well in trout streams around the country; I know I’ve had good luck with a number of them throughout Montana and back home in VA and MD, too. Nicely done.
