Fished the Middle Deschutes today. A bit overcast and thought they were doing a stock flow, but it hasn’t reached the area I was at. Still Dad caught a couple of nice browna, and I got 2 really nice bows, one nearly 4-5 lbs.(huge for this area) Just remember to watch where you step or you can be over your head like that or buried to your waist in mud.

Very encouraging. My wife and I will be in Bend next Thurs thru Sun and I had planned on at least hitting the Met, maybe now I can sneak in a couple hours in town. Great lookin feesh!
