Yes. Like some other good fish-catching fly patterns, there are many ways to tweak this fly, in terms of size, material, color, head, tail, hook, etc.
Its kind of fun to play around with different ideas on this…but completing one still takes some time!

Norm, I got the 3/4" Streamer Brushes from www.rdflyfishing.com, a division of Renzetti. I’d include the full link here, but I can’t get to it from this computer… it’s blocked by my company’s firewall software. I had ordered it from my phone instead.

They have 1/2" ? Not sure I saw those. That seems very small, let me know how those work!
Wow, my bad…yes, 1/2" brush is what Blane was using, and what I bought…even though I convinced myself it was 3/4"!
