We are trying to get another Micro Fish In organized for the St Joe river at Mottville. We are looking at October and was wondering if a Sunday would work for anyone? I was thinking Sunday, October 12. How about it guys, what say you?

I could make it by 11:30 but by then there would be no smallies left due to Brad “The Hoover” Sherrick and Rainbow “The Decimator” Chaser…hey, that’s just in time for lunch! I’m in for lunch and the afternoon if for no other reason than to hunt up Roger and see if he was pulling our collective leg re the Dowagiac behind the golf course. Trout season closes September 30 on inland streams here in MI. I’m not sure about the Dow but the St. Joe stays open year round.

I think the Terrible Butterfly has already laid claim to that date so I won’t make this one. She hasn’t learned yet that no matter how many birds she points I will still probably miss them all.

Love to join you guys, but shorthaul and me will be at Gates Lodge from 10-2 to 10-5, and making two fishing trips that close is out of the question now because of a tight work schedule. Have fun.

Joe your killing me, wish I could be there. Tell Rusty I said hello and I just finished reading his book, it was a great read. Actually I am kind of sad it is over cause it really was fantastic. I tried to milk it out for as long as I could.

0930hrs. works for me but I might get there early as the wife put in a request for some bluegill/rockbass for the fry pan. That being said I want to tangle with some big SMALLMOUTH.
Do you think we might run into some salmon?
