Michigan Fish -In

You folks going to the Michigan Fish-In how about taking some good pictures of the area and the river. Would be nice to have a few good one that we might use as screen saver’s. Just an idea. Thanks Ron

Gret idea! Thanks Ron.

Ron,
Good idea & I will honor your request. Hey! I get to use my new Pentax W10 waterproof digital. If you have any “special” picture requests, please let me know & I will attempt to honor them within my limited ability as a photographer.
Funny that you should make the request. One of my absolute flyfishing dreams is to fish a Montana river/stream by your side.
Mike

ohiotuber- No request’s on the picture’s anything that looks good is fine by me. You know I see ton’s of picture’s of fish and of people but they never show you the area they are in. And that in my opinion is what this fly fishing thing is all about. The places you catch trout are some of the most beautiful there are. Anything will be fine and thanks.

LF I know you can take good shot’s with more than just a camera. LOL Thanks Ron

sadly Ron in most situations…I can understand why that is the case…and done so more on purpose even if subconsciously…In this day and age… A fisher must protect what little Good fishing he encounters…a lot of the pics we see posted are cropped to hide surroundings for this very reason…Certain not so well know waters in this area I would NEVER post pics of…There’s only one place I fish that I would not worry of posting area shots of…and we all know of the big lime stoner I’m referring to… LOL

In case no one does…or to get your blood pump’n…how about some from last couple months…

Mainstream…

South Branch…

North Branch:

Trophy Waters:

Those of you staying at Gates be on the look out for this guy…he is TROUBLE…don’t leave your room door open…i chased him around the parking lot for 10 minutes trying to get my wading boot back!

and of course the obligitory fish porn…

billknepp- While I can agree with you on small streams there is no reason what so ever not to take a few picture’s of river’s like the Au Sable. They are well known and there isn’t a stretch on them that isn’t known by many people. That is all I am asking not for Secret places. And even there I can take picture’s of those areas and you would never in your best day guess were it is. LOL.

brookid- Thanks much for the great shot’s Now that is what I call a beautiful river. Thanks again. Ron
