I have ahad a couple of people inquire about the rules for the 2 weight shoot out that we are having at the Michigan Fish In. I keep telling them that there are no rules in a knife fight, why do we need them here? 
We will try to keep this as sipmle as possible:

Open to any 2 weight rod-custom, factory built, etc. If you donât own a 2 weight, you can use mine. I am sure that someone else will let you use theirâs also.

The contest will consist of several casting events. I will not disclose them until the event, but think about how you use a 2 weightâŚsmall streams, small flies, tight spacesâŚI think you will get the picture.

Prizes will be awarded. So far we have a hand made landing net and a dozen flies donated. Other donations will be accepted, just let me know.
