Memorial Service for Al Campbell

Hey All,

Hope things are well for everyone. Things have just been a lttle crazy out this way. I just wanted to let you all know that a tentative date has been set for the Memorial Service at the bench for Al Campbell. It will be May 19th of this year (which just happens to be Armed Forces Day). We still need to get the OK from the Hatchery Manager, but I don’t anticipate any issues there. I hope some of you will be able to make it.
I will post another note when things are finalized.

If you’d be interested I’d like to offer my services as a piper and perhaps play a tune or two, Amazing Grace, Flowers of the Forest, something like that. I’m pretty sure that I’ve got that date open, and if I do, I’ll do everything in my power to keep it that way.

I believe that Elliot can have film coverage of the event. Perhaps a DVD of it then made available, proceeds to a charity.

great idea on the dvd. i am not able to get out there for the service, but i would love to get a dvd
whaterver the cost.

I wish I could make it, but I just can’t at that time. :frowning: I hope to someday soon visit Al’s Memorial. I will honor him by spending a moment in silence on the day of the memorial.
