MEGA SPRING SWAP

For some of us, February is the beginning of the pre-spawn. For others, it’s March. This swap is one of mass proportions. There will be 30 openings for participants. Swappers will have 5 months to tie 29 flies of one pattern.

Patterns are to be nymphs, streamers, or dry flies. Flies should be tied and mailed in by February 1st.

Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your flies to:

Joshua Shock
18872 Shoreline Way
Fayetteville, AR 72703

I will tie the Jeremiah One nymph variant.

I will tie the .56’er.

I’m in. I’m leaning toward a sulfur dun.
Bill Dorgeloh
Fredericksburg, VA

I’m in. Bill’s sulphur dun is awesome.

I’m not sure what I’ll tie yet; it’ll most likely be a dry fly.

God bless and tight lines,

EF

I’m in. I will tie a bead-chain eye olive minileech.

Chuck Hitt

I’ll play, but let me look through my books before I decide what to tie.

It’s nice to be “Important”
It’s more “Important” to be nice.

I would be happy to join in. I also need to hit the books for a new pattern, most likely a streamer.

Who has time for stress when there are fish to catch.

undecided on a fly as of now

I’m in too.
Not sure what fly yet. I’ll let you know.

This weeks “Fly of the week” the Triple Threat Caddis looks like fun to tie and even more fun to fish. I’ll do a batch of them.

Oh,oh,oh pick me, pick me!!!

I’m in…Blue Ridge Caddis. Just made that up, kids. LOL

It’ll be a little gray caddis(hmmm, or maybe olive). At any rate a caddis - probably with the hackle forward style. Good for slow and fast water.

Ok, now this swap has my attention. I would love to join. I think I will tie up a damsle nymph or a dragon “bottom walker”, but I have not decided yet.

Let it go and let it grow.

I’ve decided on a fly finally. Sounds like everyone is pulling out all the stops, so…to keep pace, I’ll attempt the CDC Holographic Suspending Midge as seen on FAOL.

‘Don’t know, what you don’t know.’

I will do this swap. I will decide on a pattern later.

Rick

Panfish,

Is there still room for one more?
That is if you don’t mind a cheez head from Wisconsin. Our season is all but over so I have already been at the vise. I really like the older flies so I’ll tie what I think is a very neat looking fly the Ginger Quill. Should have no problem meeting the dead line.
Thanks to all.
