We will be having our first organizational meeting for the 2008 Michigan Fish-In on Saturday, November 17 at 10 AM at Cabela’s, in the cafe, in Dundee, MI (M50 & US 23).
We’d like to get an idea of how many to expect. Since it’s my birthday, I thought I would be the gift giver and bring goodies, so I need a headcount to make sure I bring enough. Please include any family that will be coming.

As much as I would like to make the meeting it is to far for me, I am guessing 5 or 6 hours but if you can think of anything I can do to help from Northwest Indiana let me know. I already cleared it with ht e wife so I will be going to the Fish In and am very excited to see my fishing buddies from the Michigan Micro Fish this year and looking forward to making new friends.

According to Maps on us, you are 239.5 miles from Cabela’s, driving time 3.5 hours. I realize that’s still quite a haul for you, almost twice what it is for us.
If we come up with a job for you we’ll let you know. Hmm, since you won’t be there to defend yourself, we can find you a really crappy job, right? LOL

Friday’s are tough for me to get away from my business (unless it were tied to some sort of fishing). If it were Saturday I’d grab Mikey and take a ride north. That way he could get his other fudge pan from Brad. :lol:

Hey only 3.5 hours away lets see what I can do. Maybe drive up to the meeting spend the night and then fish a few hours the next day, who knows. I will keep you posted.
Whoa Joe and Jean. She meant next Saturday the 17th not Friday the 16th, right? The 17th was what we had discussed before I thought, but Jean can confirm this. If so, grab Mikey and getchyer keesters up here for a good old shoppin jamboree.
I was planning on coming with the at least Jon and possibly Wes and Heidi! :shock: We’ll see. But none of us are showing up on Friday… only Saturday… with or without the rest of ya.

I’m blaming my typo on a paranormal moment. My mom came through as I was typing, to remind me of the day we buried her, which was on Nov. 16, 2002. I had been thinking of her as I was typing the post and I guess it was just a freudian slip.

Bob Swan and I had talked about going but he can’t make it and I just can’t justify the three hour drive both ways alone. For those that are going check out the gas station on the right as you go into Cabela’s. They have better prices on game sauage than the big store. Jean you have a P.M.
