Funny my hand has reached for the pretied legs several times at Mad River Outfitters but always pulls back when I see the price…my fly are just not worthy.

They sure look neat though.

Bugman is the one who told me about using a seam ripper. Sometimes I would like to think of ripping stitches from my flies. I have good days tying, and sometimes bad days. If it is a bad day…when nothing seems to look right, I take a break from it all. Otherwise my confidence is knocked down. Stepping back and looking at it after a break seems to help me. I never shave down a fly and start over. Although I have toyed with the idea…lol.

Thanks for the link, the visual makes it much easier to see how to do it.
Pulled my knit picker from the furled leader making box and it is so much easier with the right tools.
