I’ve got to share this…
I just saw a wounded Marine interviewed and he was asked if he would do it again…his response…
Yes…“Marines would always do it again”…
I can hardly type this as the pride for our Military overcomes…

Amen to our Military. My father was a proud Marine. He was badly wounded in WWII but said for years that if they were to call and ask him back he would not hesitate to go. He was proud to serve this great country of ours.

Gentlemen,
I too have seen interviews at Walter Reed Army Hospital where these brave, wounded heroes stated that their first request is to go back to their units in combat. And in the next frame, to see some politicians and that idiot sheehan aiding , abetting and empowering the enemy just sickens me.

I believe Miss Sheehan is trying to become this centurys version of Jane Fonda.
Rocky
Duck,
Thanks for posting. The Marines’ response is not surprising. Our Nations Military is made up of the best!
On the other hand, I’ll not print the names of the 2 traitors mentioned .

We do support all of our Military here, and have an amazing number of readers coming in from US Military connections. If we can ever be of service to any of them, just ask.
I heard a D.o.D. report tha re-enlistment rates of troops returning from the gulf is at 100%! If they think we are doing something good over there that is good enough for me! Thank you Warfighters.
I am proud to say that my uncle, father brother, both sons, and I all served in the Marine Corps. My uncle was killed on Guadalcanal, my brother was killed in Vietnam, and my youngest son is currently a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps attached to a Navy medical unit. It doesn’t matter which branch of the military they are in our service members are some of our finest youth and we should all be proud of them. God bless them all. Semper Fi !!!
HOORA!!!
Wanna show your support and get a great cookbook in return?

One of my Marine sons came back from Iraq without two legs and an eye. I got to spend a lot of time with hospitalized young men and women from all service branches as a result. Gotta tell you: these folks are incredible, just incredible!
Oldfrat…I am so so sorry…Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!..AND YOUR SON!!!
Old frat,
Of course words are not enough to show our appreciation for your sons sacrifice. But THANK him for us. And to you old frat ,THANK YOU for providing such a hero into our midst.
Mohawk, our THANKS to you and yours also. Heroes all.

Thank YOU, Ducksterman, for starting this thread. My wounded son is one of the incredible young men and women I mentioned. His attitude, spirits and recovery are just amazing to me. When he finally got back home, 11 months and 28 surgeries after the land mine, he strapped on some special prosthetics and went RUNNING on his HS track.
What you saw on that TV show is not the exception, it is the rule. I felt awe as I came to know these people! And it is truly humbling when your youngest son becomes one of the men you admire most from your life.
Oooorah!I tell you what Id go right now if they would let me!Its an honor to serve your country in combat and if you die doing it,it means some innocent person doesnt have to.Semper Fi-Zip
Oldfrat, Thank you to you and your family and especially your brave son. Heroes like him are what truly keeps us free. The fact that he is running in prosthetics does not surprise me. The young people in today’s military have such great attitudes and patriotism it’s unbelievable. Semper Fi !
Zip, I know exactly how you feel. If we could, I’d be right there with you. SF !
OOoorah!
I’d do it again in a heart beat if “they’d” let me. Support those who do and can! Just ordered one of the cookbooks too, more than one way to show support! Way to go!
Ducksterman,
Your post here reminds me of the most moving photograph I have had the honor of viewing . I repost it here for your appreciation.
Semper Fi for sure,
Mark
