Rib: Amber wire.
Body: Orange Buttonhole well waxed.
Thorax: Dark Hare?s Ear.
Hackle: Brahma hen saddle March Brown.

That’s another beautiful fly. I can’t seem to find the sort of waxes over here that you use over there. I’m going to try rosin for a double bass and see how that works. I might mix it with beeswax. Cobblers are hard to find in my neighborhood. I’ll check the directory and see if one will sell me some cobbler’s wax.

[b]Another nice one. I bet this would do well in the areas of the US where salmon fly hatches are on. Tied small, would be good for a general orange stone fly pattern.
