Well, being his neighbor I can tell you that he has indeed had a very rough summer. He has talked about registering again and that probably was him. Most of the summer has bent spent walking doubled over for him. It seems to be all he can do just to go to work every day. I don’t think he has been able to fish or hike for sometime and if you know Eric then you know that is very hard on him. He does seem to be feeling a bit better this week. But he has good and bad days.
See I think it is him that registered because he has used the time he spends on fishing and hiking to do something wonderful for some very special people! I don’t want to spill the beans on it but you know how Eric and Amy love to give. Heck, they even provide us neighbors with free internet from their router.
He reads the board sometimes. Hope he reads this thread. Come on Eric you got to let these folks know what you did because they will love it! I’ll try to talk to him later tonight if I can.
Got to speak to him last night. on my way to works so this will be short. he did register again but is still not sure about posting soon. Seems he wanted to post but then changed his mind. I think he is still a bit put off by something that happened to him but I don’t know. must have been something to hurt him badly because he is a darned good guy.
just my 2 cents and now i am going back to just lurking for a while myself.

i have lived next door to the nighthawk for some time. i am a vet of the field artillery. i’ve seen this guy do some wonderful things but i think even he would tell that this one took all including himself by suprise. by the way, thanks for your service and i love the truck.
i don’t know for sure but i think you all will hear from eric very soon.
