Found this on Inpursuitofspotties blog. Original had a mallard wing; swapped out for deer hair because I couldn’t get it to look right. Change color/size to meet your needs.

thread - Danville 6/0 tan
shuck - aftershaft
abdomen - biot yellow/tan
loop - UTC 140 tan
hackle - grizzly (undersize by 1)
wing - deer hair
thorax - dubbing tan
Part 1
Mash barb, put a bend in the front 1/3 of the shank
Start thread; measure (gap width past bend) an aftershaft feather (partridge used here), tie in/trim
Tie in biot, notch side down
Wrap to kink; tie off/trim
Tie in loop
Hook loop onto gallows; tie in hackle
Wrap hackle up (thorax width), and back to tie in; tie off/trim
Stroke fibers back
