Lots of variety in Lemon Bay

I’m updating the fishing report on my web site (www.tightloopsflyfishing.com) in a few minutes, but since I was on this BB thought I’d let you know that EVERYTHING is on the bite in Lemon Bay (Englewood).

My guys caught several trout, ladyfish, snook, lizardfish, sea robin, jack crevalle, pinfish, lane snapper, mangrove snapper, even a flounder! Quite the mix! Redfish have been moody and on the move the past week. Must be the changing barometric pressure???

You are right this has been a great year fish are everywhere. Tampa Bay area has been hot all year and the fish will hit anything that hits the water. Freshwater has been great to easy to get over 100 fish per day. Jigg’s landing, lake manatee if you want a lot of fish nonstop action all day.

We’re freezing our keisters in the NE US and you’re catching fish…nice fish!

Ken and I have been talking about coming down in February or March. Looks like we should leave now  I’m ready for a “sun” fix!

…but at least the sun’s shining and there’s not a cloud in the sky!

Hey, Ladyfish, I understand your pain. The Redhead keeps a close eye on our digs in northern Michigan, and the predicted highs next week will have a minus sign in front of the number! Which is WHY we’re here rather than there.

It’s also one %^## of a lot easier to book guide trips down here right now. Chopping a 40-foot long trench in the ice to toss a fly line can be a LOT of hard work!!!
