Da*n, Drat, Kick, Scream, Mutter!! Sometimes I write a lengthly post, hit the ‘submit’ button and get a ‘you didn’t fill in ____’, or an error message about a typo in the Name or Password box. I try to go back and the entire Message box is empty. I know I can write a post in ‘Word’ and paste it or copy the message before hitting the submit box, but I don’t.
When this happens I feel like such a schm^%#@$^&**^%$$%&&^%^%%^^ !
Has this happened to you? If and when it did, did you try and re-write the post or just say, “Forget about it?”
I have a bad habit of typing my password then hitting the enter button like you do to log on to different sites. Then of coarse I get the dreaded hit the back button message teling me what a goof I am . I know how to but am to lazy to put it in word and copy paste it onto here .
If i really goof and lose the whole message I say an unpleasant word or two and give up .
It was not meant to be.
Thus far, knock on wood…when I do this…and I hit the back button…it’s never been blank…but one day my luck will run dry…and I guess I’ll just not post…
“I’ve often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before” A.K.Best
The other alternative is to stop posting. Its sort of like loosing flies to trees or debris on the bottom. If you don’t want to loose flies, don’t fish.
Well you can always type the reply right here and before clicking send highlight, and copy. Anything goes wrong just click back in and paste. Saves having to use two programs.
