The casting action for this rod is crisp, controlled and fast. My preferred line weight are 400gr for Scandi Heads and 450gr for Skagit Heads. I fished it over 2 days for Chum Salmon in British Columbia, this rod has plenty of backbone for Chums up to 20lb. I am selling this to finance a 10wt Spey rod for “bucket list” trip to Norway.
