Looking for REC recoil guides for an 12 wt and 8wt rod I’m building also cork for both and a reel seet for the 12wt. Could also use a rod sock and tube for both and both are 9foot 3pc rods.
I have 2 full wells grips, one is extra select, also an Orvis black Salt Water reel seat and wooden bushing, and an black SW seat, US made, second seat has fighting butt. I quit building rods 2 yrs. ago, will consider reasonable offers…price on the Orvis seat was about 50.00
Do you know what brand the other seat is? Or its inside diameter? And I hate to be a pain in the @$$ but can you send me a Pic of the seets and grips I AM REAL INTERESTED.
Correction…have 1 cork grip only, the select. Orvis seat is gloss black, has insert ans short fighting butt, insert will need to be drilled to your blank diam… Other seat was Netcrafth has removable fighting butt, 2", matte black, 3 5/8" long, I.D. is .610, will throw in Orvis 16mm stripping guides and some black vinyl winding checks. Hope this helps. Matte seat has no insert. Both are new, never mounted. Please make 1 offer, I hate haggling.
It sounds great so far but I really would like to see a pic of the orvis reel seat and the cork. I will have to pass on the other reel seat I do not know much about the strenght of the other brand for a 12 wt.
I have an extra reel with 12wt line and backing. If you need it, I will sell one of them for a reasonable price. Then you will be all set to catch a tarpon. Ray
