Looking for Size 00 Chartreuse Chenille

Hi All,

I have had difficulty finding size 00 (Danvilles Fine or Small) chenille in chartreuse. Hook & Hackle has that size, I think, but not in chartreuse. The smallest size that I have bought from them in the past has been that size I believe.

I have some small from Cabelas, but it is size 0, I think. It is larger than the smaller size that I have gotten from Hook and Hackle, and from a very limited number of fly shops.

Do any of you know of a source that sells chartreuse in size 00.

Danville dose not list Chartreuse as a color on their web site. They do list in rayon chenille #222 Apple Green or your other choice is Nylon Chenille #504 Flouresent Green. Would either work color wise for you? Danville will also make chenille with a different color of center cord which will change the color also.

If you are looking for small chenille - how about vernille instead?? Hope this helps!

Thanks for the information.

Fatman, thanks for the pm.

I will be looking at the options suggested, but if anyone finds such small chenille, please advise.

If I have to, I can make a dubbing loop of chartreuse dubbing, and that does work, but chenille is a lot handier and quicker.

Gandolf, it may be worth contacting Crazy Angler Tackle to see if he could get it. He seems to have access to all sorts of chenilles, and may be able to get it for you. Their customer service is A++.
