Looking for preformed cigar grips

Most of the rod building supplies I can find online are so “run of the mill”,does any one know a source for a decent quality cigar shaped cork?Also looking for sliding band reel seats.

Hello JMoody, try having a look here: strublemfg.com .You find some great cigar grips and some nice reel seats too. I like the D or the U - 27 and the D2, D2S, both in the Deluxe.

What you and I consider “run of the mill” might be different, however I have been satisfied w/ the quality of Anglers Workshop cigar grips.

Here is a pic of one of their grips on a fiberglass rod I recently built. As MontanaMoose mentioned Struble sells some very nice cork also although it is a bit expensive for my wallet.
