Several years ago I won the monthly drawing here on FAOL and received an amazing Oasis Tying Bench. It’s the one with the life cycle of a mayfly as decoration and it also has two round metal bases mounted toward the back which are intended to be mounts for a lamp and a magnifying lens. I believe the lamp was supposed to be from the Giraffe lamp company. I never did buy the lamp and am now looking for it but can’t seem to find a lamp that can mount on the bench. Does anyone have any idea where I can find a lamp that will mount onto the Oasis bench? I’m not interested in standalone or vise mounted… just one that will mount onto the bench without the bulk of a base. I appreciate any pointers. Thanks!
My Oasis bench (the “Compact”) has a 1/2" hole. I have a couple of swing arm lamps that can be removed from their base or clamp and mounted on the Oasis bench by inserting the post into the hole on the bench. The 1/2" post seems to be a standard size that is common on many swing arm or flexible arm lamps.
