I spent an hour on the water this evening. Caught 3, one of which is actually smaller than the one shown here:rolleyes: and I’ll include a couple of shots of stream porn, so you’ll at least have something to pretty to look at.
My only regret was my little fisherman AJ wasn’t with me today. Oh well, I’ll get him out there next time.

Nice looking water. Is that a sardine in the first photo? Just kidding. Caught a couple of similar ones last time out. Felt pretty stupid when I let the line drift downstream and then looked up and started to roll cast back upstream and felt a little weight on the line. Thought I’d hooked a small stick or some weeds and it turned out to be about a 2" “flying fish” as it went whizzing past my head! Never even felt it grab the fly. Water looks about the perfect size for AJ. I remember the first fish our oldest son caught when he was about three. It was about a 3"-4" bluegill. Of course I had to clean it so his mom could cook it for supper. I believe it was about fifty cent size by the time it was ready for the pan. Great memories though.
