Item 2005 top right corner
Anyone know how to tie this fly?

OK I’ll take a stab at it

first thing to do is build an under body to give the fly its shape

heres ONE way to do it. use your favorite materials

start with

shape as required

finished under body

then just tie in the tail with marabou/chickabou, dub the body with the lite brite dubbing and glue on the eyes.

for a weighted under body try this

scud weighting

minnow/stonefly weighting

finished fly

happy tying

Cool!

Is that Light Bright Dubbing you tied on the minnow on the bottom and what did you attach the eyes with or did you epoxy them? Sorry for the rookie questions as I am sure everyone else know what you used, LOL!

The “glue” is probably just epoxy. :slight_smile:
