Lighted Eyeglasses

I noticed these or some similar in the BPS catalog last night I can’t use them as I wear glasses continually. But some of you who fish late and need “cheaters” to get the line in the hook eye may want to order a pair. Brookstone and some other outlets have them also.

I got a pair for Christmas. I wanted the 300 for tying my flies. They are awesome. However the best part is mine are black with pink dots…LOL not my choice just the way it is.
They work great. I am thinking they will be perfect for camping trips. $19.95

Uncle Jesse,

Could’t you just tape one of those really small mini mags to your glasses? (half joking/half serious) Or one of those new fangled hat brim lights?

Fly Goddess - Are you seeing those “pink dots” before or after you turn on the lamps? You might want to check your meds! Just sayin! LOL!!! Here’s an URL that might help! www.spotsRus.com BTW, I should probably check these fake URLs to make sure they don’t go somewhere weird?? LOL!

Best regards, Dave S.

Yep, just checked that “fake” URL and it’s a real site! They don’t do “pink dots” however! LOL!

I had to go check, how blonde was that…LOL I was wearing those Zipka Head lamps, but they messed up my hair…LOL

Of course, you can alway duct tape a flashlight to your head or get one of thsoe head light things or dig out you grandpa carbide light for that matter. The “cheater” glasses with the built in headlights were new to me and pretty cool for a old guy. I wear glasses about anytime my eyes are open and the state of GA will not allow us to trout fish long (more than 30 minutes) after the sunsets.

As for the URL going somewhere weird, I have been to Philly I think that would qualify.

Uncle Jesse,

I believe if your going to wear a pair of those lighted glasses here in Pa., your also required to have a small rotating beacon on top your hat/head, and one of those beepers, so people know your backing up, on the stream. Safety first! Not sure if this is in effect now, or just a proposal for the 2012 season. It was on the internet, so it’s got to be true!! LOL!!! Our fishing licensing season starts today, Jan.1st. WoooooHoooooo!!! Good fishing Pennsylvanians!!

Best regards, Dave S.
